Local Road Works

Corbrook: my ongoing request for works to address 'recurrent flooding in the dip' are due to take place between 11 -24 September. These will include kerbing, upgrade of two of the existing gully tops to large storm gratings along with 40 square metres of carriageway patching.

Old Railway Bridge Swanbach: further diagnostic and jetting works are due to be undertaken between 18 – 22 September. CE Highways have invited me to visit the site during works; I'll take my spade!

As ever these announcements come with the caveat of 'subject to weather conditions' and will result in more traffic lights but lets hope we can finally make some progress.

I will provide a more general update on the various Cheshire East Consultations and United Utilities works on Woore Road shortly.
