Mia Brown, who lives in Audlem and is a Year 10 student at Brine Leas school, has been successful recently in major Equestrian events.
Mia qualified to compete at the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead where they came 3rd and 6th in their classes.
She has also qualified for Horse of the Year Show and will be competing at the NEC in October.
There are only 20 Horse of the Year's qualifiers held around the UK, so only the very best of the best qualify.
The Horse of the Year and the Royal International Horse Show are at the very top of the Showing world, there is no higher qualification in the country!!
Mia's family say: "So so proud of her and all her hard work – she has done this all herself as completely home produced without the help of any outside professionals." Most riders that qualify are under a professional.
AudlemOnline wishes Mia all the very best at the NEC next month. We also thank Ann Broady of Brine Leas for her help with this story.
