Audlem Radio Control Club (ARCC) is seeking a suitable local flying field to fly their quiet, electric (only) model aircraft, please can anyone help?
We would ideally seek a medium – large field with a landing strip area (preferably of mown grass, or even tarmac) measuring about 10m x 50m or larger. Ideally away from housing, buildings, large trees and powerlines / telephone wires and have a safe parking area nearby.
The club would pay to rent the facility and the club members are all members of the British Model Flying Association, meaning they conform to safety rules and have insurance cover up to £25m. The club is only small with currently just 6 active flying members and plans to grow slowly over time.
If anyone has any suggestions of a suitable venue, or can help in any way, please can they contact the club by emailing: audlemrcc@yahoo.com
