Audlem Cricket Club's annual local knockout is now reaching the end of the group stage, with two teams having already qualified for the semi finals and three others vying for the other two places.

With only three of the twenty one games left, last year's winners The Dark Side, having won all of their five games so far and Usual Suspects, having won five out of six are the two teams through. Black Lion (who play Lord Combermere tomorrow), Bridge Inn (who play The Dark Side on Thursday 3rd August) and Legal Eagles (who play Captain Webb in the final group stage game on Tuesday 8th August)are the teams battling for third and fourth places.

On Sunday 27th August the 15-over-a-side semi finals will be played at the Gorse Croft, starting at 11am and 1pm. The final, which is 20 overs a side, will be held immediately after at 3pm. So get along to the ground and watch some exciting cricket whilst enjoying a drink from the bar.

For information on how to find the ground see the club's website at Audlem Cricket Club (The website link that was here no longer works) Follow the link from "About Us".
