Today sees the release of local artist Heidi Browne's festive single: 'When It Snows'. Featuring, banjo, Irish fiddle and more Christmas imagery than you can shake a yule log at, this festive track will certainly get your bells jingling and is available for £1.

Heidi is a popular local musician who rose to prominence after beating thousands of applicants and winning the UK OpenMic competition. Since then, Heidi (who now lives near Market Drayton), has been touring all over the UK and Europe and can regularly be heard on the radio. Her recent single 'Colouring Outside the Lines' was recently featured by BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris.

Performing on this song is Heidi's brother and drummer Joe, Ian Rowley on double bass and 'Albert' who performed at Audlem Festival on his trusty banjo. The song was recorded, mixed and mastered down in Monmouth by Ron Rogers of T'Pau at his studio 'Up The Lane'. Ron fronts The Ronaldo's and his band will be performing at the FatPigeonLive recording this Sunday 13th at 3:00pm. Well worth a trip up to the Scout Hall to witness the FatPigeon team in action. Entry is free.

You can download the track for £1 by visiting BandCamp. (click the link).

After Christmas Heidi is releasing her fourth album before jetting off to Australia for a tour. More information can be found at Heidi's website: www.heidibrowne.co.uk.
