Livvi's Perfect Weekend

There are not many sports where you can use the world class facilities that the top professionals train and compete on but track cycling is one of them.

In the North West we are lucky enough to have the Manchester Velodrome on our doorstep. Cycling is also one of the few sports where the world's elite are happy to meet their "public" with gracious ease.

Livvi Ball of Audlem Cycling Club and Audlem Cyclesport is currently taking part in regular Friday evening sessions at Manchester as she works towards her track accreditation that will allow her to compete in the Monday evening Track League.

Imagine how exciting and inspirational it must be to meet and have your picture taken with the multi, grand- tour stage winning Mark Cavendish. This is what happened to Livvi on Friday evening when she, Cav and his new PA Rob Dooley, who is a friend of Nikki's, chatted.

"The best day of my life" was how Livvi described Friday and she hasn't stopped smiling since.

The weekend was topped off for Olivia when she received the Jacky Jones Schoolgirl Time Trial Shield and the Chester Road Club Track Cup at their annual club presentation and dinner on Sunday.
