There's live music tonight when the Lord Combermere is proud to introduce to the people of Audlem the talented Garron Frith, starting at 9.00pm.

For the past few years, Garron has built a steady fanbase, received praise for his live gigs and music and his debut had airplay on BBC6, BBC Manchester, BBC Scotland, WFM to name a few.

Garron has played at venues such as Manchester Acadamy, Harrogate Royal Hall, Edinburgh Playhouse as well as opening for acts such as Imelda May, Peter Green, The Fun Lovin Criminals, Madelaine Peyroux and John Cooper Clarke.

He released his debut album to critical acclaim (5/5 Sunday Express, 4/5 Maverick Magazine, 4/5 Acoustic Magazine and was called Manchester's most underated singer/songwriter by Manchester Music, 5/5.)

The album was produced by Simon J Alpin who has worked with everyone from Badly Drawn Boy, Devendra Banhart to Teenage Fanclub and Faithless. It's ten acoustic based tracks with a little help from The Willard Grant Conspiracy, Chuck Prophet and Grand Drive. Simon played Mandolin, Lapsteal and produced the self-titled debut.

Last year Garron signed a publishing deal with Respect Music, toured Ireland and ended the year with a sell out gig at the Verge, Hyde. He is currently working on the second album.

This is another treat, so please support The Lord C Thursday live music tonight.
