Live music dates at Shroppie

Those that follow the Shroppie Fly's website – click on the link below the photo to have a look – will have seen that one of the most popular local bands is playing at the pub tomorrow, Friday 20th October, at 9.30pm – Heavy Weather

Heavy Weather features, of course, Jim Kirkpatrick, always a great musician and entertainer. However, a local music enthusiast urged us to look further forward on the Shroppie's bookings and note a performance by JLS.

JLS, you may be asking. It's none other than Jim Kirkpatrick, Les Hunt and Steve Hayes playing together. Definitely not one to miss! A no-brainer for all you musos – and the acoustic trio, according to Jim's website, are now working on a CD.

The JLS date is an easy one to remember – albeit for very serious reasons. It's 11/11/11.
