Despite the forecast of heavy rain for Saturday morning, ADAS volunteers turned out in force to get the 66(ish) small (some not so little) Christmas trees up ahead of the Big Switch On.
Pete and Phil did the lacing of the big tree with up to 400 meters of lights, which is a mammoth job.
A reminder of timings for the Big Switch On:
- 1800hrs – Santa arrives at the Wharf
- 1820hrs – Switch on of the big tree
- 1825hrs – St James choir
- 1845hrs – Santa's Grotto opens
