Audlem Parish Council’s Spring Newsletter is currently being delivered to homes in the Audlem and District area.  If you live out of the area and haven’t received a copy you can view it online by clicking on the link below the photo.

As ever, the newsletter contains reports on events that have already occurred and diary dates for many of the important events to come over the next 3 months.  It also includes details of organisations and businesses within the area – and it’s the longest list ever.  The number of businesses and shops just continues to grow and grow!

This time too, there’s a competition for Audlem and District residents to come up with a new name for the Newsletter.   The person sending in the best suggestion (in the opinion of the judges) will receive a family ticket to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Party in The Park on 7 July.  The ticket, worth £32, has been kindly donated by ASET (Audlem Special Events Team).  Tribute bands playing at the event include:  QEll, playing Queen’s greatest hits, Sincerely ABBA and This is Bublé so it’s definitely not an event to miss.  Entry for the competition can be by email (to newsletter@audlem.org" target="_blank">newsletter@audlem.org) or hand it in at the Post Office.   If you don’t win the competition, you can still buy tickets from the Post Office or by contacting the Box Office on 01270 811211.

Finally, everyone has an opportunity to give feedback on the Newsletter.   We want to know what people think of it and how it can be improved – so please fill in the survey form and drop it into the box either in Williams’ Newsagents or in the Post Office.

The deadline date for both the naming competition and completed feedback survey forms is Monday 25 May 2012.
