Audlem Party on the Park

Following on from the Audlem Music & Arts Festival last month, the next big event in the village is the Audlem Party on the Park on Saturday, 1st July brought to you by ASET, the Audlem Special Events Team.

This year promises to be bigger and better costing £20,000 to stage. Featuring 80s Mania, Europe's premier 1980s tribute band -- 25 chart topping pop stars re-created live on stage, performing over 35 smash hits with amazing dancers.

As if that isn't enough, the event is supported by the wonderful New Moon Fever featuring Audlem's very own Jim Kirkpatrick and Billy Gibbons. Jim Kirkpatrick has been an Audlem favourite for over twenty years while Billy is one of the great characters, regularly seen on TV, as well as being a superb musician. This will be great entertainment.

The whole event is compered by Signal Radio Presenter, Dave Johnson, who always makes this a show to remember.

Early bird prices end on Sunday 25th June so don't miss out.

Tickets are available at Williams Newsagents of Audlem (cash only), Nantwich Tourist Information Centre or online via www.audlem-aset.org where you can click on to the link to Eventbrite, ASET's online ticket agent.

Early Bird Ticket prices are:
Adult £15
Child (5-16) £7
Under 5s Free
Family Ticket (2 Adults/2 Children) £40
Gazebo Plots have all been sold for 2017.

This year ASET are introducing a prize for the best costume on the night, so dig our your 80's clothes and let's have a party!

Anybody who has been to Audlem Party on the Park (which has been running since 2001) will know what a wonderful event this is with thousands bringing along a picnic, huge numbers up dancing and everyone enjoying a great community event.

ASET organise three events each year, Party on the Park, the Transport Festival at the end of July and the spectacular Fireworks in November. All volunteers, the ASET team know how to put on a show.

Music and Art Festival

At the end of May, Audlem's Music & Arts Festival attracted large numbers of visitors and residents with over eighty musical acts, covering virtually all genres, to the three outdoor stages outside Audlem's pubs plus other venues throughout the village.

As well as music, there was poetry, notably the Poetry Slam which sees poets from around the country competing to create impromptu verse in front of a lively audience.

The art exhibition featured works by local amateur and professional artists and attracted over nine hundred visitors who were able to choose their favourite work, won this year by a young local artist and photographer, Emily Hardy.
