Know your Numbers! Week

This is an appeal for voluntary organisations to take part in the "Know Your Numbers" campaign. One suspects that the venue for the Crewe training may change because of the recent fire.

Know your Numbers is Blood Pressure UK's flagship awareness campaign. It encourages adults across the UK to know their blood pressure numbers and take the necessary action to reach and maintain healthy blood pressure.

'Know Your Numbers Week' will take place from 9th to 15th September 2019 and in support of this, CHAMPS Public Health Collaborative has been awarded funding by British Heart Foundation to provide blood pressure monitors for Connected Communities Centres & Partner agencies across Cheshire East, including training for 50 volunteers. The training provider is Halton BC Health Improvement team with the course accredited by City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Health and Adult Social Care.

We are holding 2 training sessions on the following dates:
· 16th August 2019 – Venue: St John's Church, Macclesfield – Time 10.00 am --1 pm (15 spaces available)
· 3rd September 20119 – Venue: Beechmere, Crewe – Time 10.00 am --1 pm (11 spaces available)
