AudlemOnline has received two reports from residents of thefts or attempted break-ins at properties in Kinsey Heath on Wednesday night.

One report says: "We live on Kettle Lane in Kinsey Health, Audlem. There was a theft in our property last night. The thieves have stolen two of our good bicycles. We are all very sad about this.

"We have reported the crime to the Nantwich Police, they have been down here visiting our property. We just want to altert the village community about thieves going around in the village surroundings. Please can you publish this on Audlem Online."

The second report was from a local resident who has written to say: "Just to let people know our garden shed has been broken into sometime Wednesday night.

"They came into our garden across the adjacent field and turned the sensor light around and broke the padlock off.

"Police have been informed. This happened in Bagley Lane, Kinsey Heath."

Our thanks to other Kinsey Heath residents who alerted us to the second incident. It's worth being extra vigilant particularly if you have a motor mowers, bicycles or something else valuable in a shed or out-house.
