Killer Heron on the Loose in Buerton

Ed: We received this from a local resident. It obviously had a good breakfast. Do you have any suggestions other than Coronavirus to cause the Heron to desist?

Not the best start to a day to draw back bedroom curtains to see a large grey heron standing in my pond. Needless to say every one of my two dozen or so fish which I have nurtured over several years have been devoured. Just a warning to other pond owners.

However the heron is now a daily visitor, obviously hoping that I will re-stock my pond. Does coronavirus affect herons, I hope?
