Kath Lewis

We regret to announce the death yesterday morning of Kath Lewis, well-known to so many people in the area.

Her large family – children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters and other relatives, many of whom still live in Audlem or locally – say she will be desperately missed.

After childhood in Hankelow and later Audlem, Kath ran the popular garage at Chapel End with her late husband Bryon and lived there for many years before moving back into the village. She has been one of the team at the Audlem Charity shop since and was a regular at the Public Hall's Friday Bingo sessions.

Details of her funeral will be announced when they are known.
