Junior bowlers a credit

We may not have many Junior members in the Audlem Bowls Club at the moment but those we have are a credit to the club.

Last weekend saw the Junior inter- league competition at Ludlow and Jack Brookes and Rhiannon Brookes were selected to represent the Whitchurch League and Market Drayton Leagues respectively.

Jack's team got to the semi final of the Consolation Cup but in the process knocked out Rhiannon's team in the group stage. All the bowlers bowled to a fantastic standard and confidence is high that the County will be a strong force in the years ahead with our juniors from Audlem playing a significant role in the future.

Amy Katterloher is more than holding her own in the Market Drayton B team having already won three of her matches and is topping the team averages. One to watch for the future?
