Jungle Book wows sell-out audience

The Oxfordshire Theatre Company played to a capacity audience at St James' Primary School on Saturday.


Once again TAVA (Touring Arts Visiting Audlem) has been overwhelmed by the fantastic feedback. This includes: 


From the children:-



  • Owen (aged 10): "I think the show was great and really fun."

  • Thomas (aged 10): "Awesome! I want to see it again."

  • Emily (aged 8): "I particularly liked Balu. He was really funny." 

  • Claire (aged 10): "Fantastic!"

  • George (aged 10): "It was amazing. I particularly liked the beautiful bird puppet."

  • Holly (aged 10): "I loved it!"

  • Millie (aged 10): "Great"

  • Vyrnwy (aged 10): "It made me laugh!. I loved it."

  • Sara (aged 8): "I especially enjoyed the second half."

  • Shona (aged 12): "A great experience. My favourite show yet!"

  • Joe (aged 12): "It has helped me understand Jungle Book a lot more after watching the performance." 


And from the grown ups:-



  • "Wow. It was an amazing interpretation. The songs will carry on in my head. Well worth the 2 hour journey."  

  • "An amazing performance. Very skilled and realistic interpretation of all the animals."

  • "Incredibly innovative."

  • "Thoroughly enjoyed it, great for all ages."

  • "As usual, a very high standard production."

  • "Excellent. Thoroughly entertaining for the whole family. And brilliant value for money."

  • "Very engrossing." 


What is TAVA?


We host 2 professional arts events each year aimed at children and families, and we also host workshops. Cheshire Rural Touring Arts provides us with a fantastic choice of events, all of professional calibre and at a subsidised price.
