July

Here comes Summer! Hurray -
Six months of the year
Have just flown by
And now we have July -
A month of blue skies
And balmy days.

In the cool of the evening air
We can sit outside, have a BBQ
Chat, read, have a tipple or two -
Naughty but nice.
Remember a little of what you fancy
Does you good – and that's a fact!

The gardens are at their best
Fruit trees bursting with newly born fruit
And there's an abundance of soft fruit to be had
So really, July can't be bad!

We know its not a good time for all,
Hay fever is a pest!
But it will pass,
Just keep the hankies at the ready -
I do!

This month, we have, here in Audlem,
Our picnic in the Park to enjoy
And the great Festival of Transport
Exciting times!
