Janice's 10th Midnight Walk

Janice Spibey completed her tenth Midnight Walk last weekend helping to raise funds for St Luke's Hospice.

Sponsorship money is still flooding in to Janice who has already raised more than £600 this year and £12,000 over the last ten years. If you would like to donate, please call Janice on 811319.

Janice says: "A very big thank you to all my sponsors and to Judy at Williams' newsagents, Audlem Post Office and Boots in Cheshire Street for displaying the sponsorship forms."

Janice completed the 13.1 mile circuit from Reaseheath College to MMU in Crewe and back along with a total of 1,100 ladies who either walked the whole circuit or a half one.

Janice, and nine other ever-present participants, were delighted to be presented with special tee-shirts with their name on and a legend saying they had survived every Midnight Walk since they started ten years ago.

This resulted in hearty congratulations from so many other walkers it became a really emotional walk, says Janice.
