It's the biggest night in the Audlem calendar – Proms on the Park. The stage is built, the gazebos are going up, the picnics being planned. It's all set for a flag-waving evening of celebration, great music, meeting up with friends, eating and drinking, all finished off with a wonderful firework display. And the weather seems set to be glorious.

The Band of the King's Division, renowned throughout the UK, the Bill Basey Big Band and the Crewe Male Voice Choir will provide the music. You will have the full range of a traditional Proms with Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1; Parry's Jerusalem, Henry Wood's Fantasia on British Sea Songs and Arne's Rule Britannia.

Don't miss out on this superb occasion. Some tickets are still available this morning at Audlem Post Office or you can pay on the gate.

The Proms on the Park event is organised by ASET, the Audlem Special Events Team and is one of the key reasons Audlem has been made the current Cheshire, North of England and Defra national village of the year.
