Hooray – New Post Office arrives

After the sad closure of our local Post Office last year, it was so great to see that our new Post Office in the LLLovely premises at 11, Cheshire street is now open.

The "soft opening" as Denise Nutbrown of the Post Office Ltd. described it, took place approximately 3.30pm on Monday (just a tad later than the 1pm target – but who is counting?).

Customers were immediately in a line from the door as Megan Sheer, the LLLovely proprietor, welcomed her new customers with some assistance from Denise Nutbrown and Kevin Orgill.

Megan says the Post Office opening times will be:

• 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Tuesday
• Closed Wednesday
• 8.30am – 5.30pm Thursday – Saturday
