Hello! Father Christmas here.
I just wanted to drop a note to all of you good children and people of Audlem ahead of my visit on 24thNovember, at ‘The Big Switch On’. I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to seeing you all again! Still recovering from last year... aren’t you?!
I have been watching the village closely over this past year and boy have you all been well behaved! You are thoroughly deserving of your ‘Community Spirit’ award. Well done everyone!
Anyway, what I wanted to tell you is that because you have been SO super this past year, I am putting a very, very special post box in the Post Office just for you. This post box is actually a Magical Post Box, and it acts a bit like a hot-line directly to my very own home. No more worrying about letters getting lost in Warrington, hey! How about that! (Shhh, don’t tell anyone else about this because they’ll all want one!)
What I would like you to do, when you all have your Christmas list, letter or special wishes written out and ready to send to me, pop it in to one of my Special Red envelopes and drop it into the Magical Post Box on 24thNovember. Because I won’t get around to hearing all of your wishes at my grotto in Williams Newsagents, it is a great way of letting me know exactly everything that you want, super fast!
‘Where do I get my Special Red Envelope from?’ I hear you cry! They are available to buy for £1 from Audlem St James Primary School (just ask the teacher) and Williams Newsagents. They have been kindly given to me by the lovely people at Friends of Audlem School Association, who are raising money for your local school.
I love to receive your letters and hear what you have to say! Gets me motivated for what’s to come! So please get in quick and jump the queue. Must dash, lots to do! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
