Thursday 17 October

Audlem and District History Society – The Railway and Nantwich

A reminder that tomorrow evening's illustrated talk by Jeremy Nicholls covers the history and development of the two railway lines which met in Nantwich. It also looks at the role of the railway in the local economy and how it affected the town's industries and patterns of employment and leisure.

The meeting will take place in the Scout and Guide Hall in Cheshire Street and starts at 7.30pm. All welcome. If you haven't previously attended our meetings, please come along as a visitor, without obligation. You'll find an informal, relaxed atmosphere and we hope you'll enjoy an interesting and informative meeting.
