There are a lot of new residents who are keen to find out about thevillage and its history.
At present most of the books written in the70's and 80's are out of print but 2 items are available at the canalshop:
a history of the local mills is for sale
...and...
a historical walksleaflet is free!
I would suggest Nantwich library local studies section(upstairs) would be worth a visit, the villages are in alphabeticalorder so you don't have to look far. I think you have to study themthere.
The History Society will try to provide a general history talk in the future.
