Heaven's Close coming soon

This Summer's 5As production sounds like great fun and, written by Colin Cliffe, is likely to be a hoot. Heaven's Close is coming to the Public Hall early next month (5th, 6th and 7th July).

When Becky and Harry Black decide to take over a care home, they do so for only one reason, the money. With no empathy whatsoever towards the poor elderly residents and surrounded by minimum wage, low-skilled workers, chaos and calamity soon reign supreme within 'the care home from hell.'

And whilst the henpecked Barry distracts himself by flirting with the vivacious nurse Beryl, wife Becky is showing a very unhealthy interest in their wayward teenage daughter's (ex con) boyfriend Gary.

In this hilarious farcical romp everything that can go wrong does go wrong when the social services inspectors arrive unannounced for an inspection.

With a full 5As cast and a welcome guest appearance of TV star Billy Gibbons, the play will be performed for three nights only, so please book your tickets early.
