Heathfield Road – revised application

As reported on AudlemOnline earlier this week, a revised application has now been sent in to Cheshire East Planning Department by Hockenhull Properties Ltd to build up to 26 houses on land east of 22 Heathfield Road.

Members of the Parish Council's planning working party have been looking closely at this new application to determine the ways in which it differs from the original one. The intention is to give some guidance to members of the Parish Council when the issue is discussed at the next meeting on 6 January 2014.

And your views will be welcome too. Members of the public, as ever, are welcome to attend the January Parish Council meeting to express their views on this issue, and indeed any other, in the Public Forum at the start of the meeting.

For information, as Chairman of the Parish Council, and on behalf of the Parish Council, I have requested a two-week extension to the deadline for comments to be received at Cheshire East Planning Department. It was felt that the current deadline date of 8 January 2014 was unacceptable, given the closeness of the Christmas holiday period.

If successful, this means that you should have more time to send in your comments on this revised application. You can do this by clicking here. In any event, I urge you to send your comments in sooner rather than later.
