Hankelow Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result.

Voting took place in the Hankelow Neighbourhood Plan Referendum last week, and the result has now been confirmed. The plan was approved by Hankelow residents, with 141 voting in favour of a "Yes" and 13 in favour of a "No".

Cheshire East Council will be making a formal decision to 'make' the plan in the coming weeks.

The turnout was an impressive 53%, and Hankelow Parish Council would like to thank all those residents who turned out to vote, despite the nearby fire which forced a temporary evacuation of the polling station!
