St John Ambulance Cheshire is offering an unforgettable and unique night for the bravest of souls – the opportunity to sleep over in the ‘haunted’ Hack Green Nuclear Bunker near Audlem from 29th – 30th October starting at 8.30pm to 7.00am.

In return, participants are asked to get their friends and family to sponsor them to scare themselves silly, while raising funds for the charity’s Chain of Survival appeal.

Through the appeal, the charity aims to raise £5000 which will be used to purchase additional, essential life saving pieces of equipment for its volunteers including automated external defibrillators (AEDs), auto blood pressure and pulse oximeters, which monitor blood and oxygen levels, and emergency grab bags that contain oxygen and airway management equipment.

First aid really can be the difference between life and death. Indeed within the last 18 months four local people’s lives have been saved by St John Ambulance volunteers promptly and effectively administering first aid, using lifesaving equipment.

St John Ambulance event coordinators will be present at the event for the whole night, and so will be available if needed.

In order to raise sufficient funds for St John Ambulance all participants at the Spooky Sleepover are asked to pay a £35 registration fee followed by a pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100. They must be 18 or over to take part.

For more information contact Laura Prentice on 01244 383407 or email: fundraising@cheshire.sja.org.uk" target="_blank">fundraising@cheshire.sja.org.uk by tomorrow, 26th October.

I look forward to hearing from you.
