Hail and rain 3 – Cricketers 0

Audlem's cricketers lost out to the weather last weekend as both the 1st XI and the Sunday XI matches were cancelled without a ball being bowled and the 2nd XI faced only six overs before hail and rain ended the match.

Unfortunately, all the other matches in Divisions 2 and 4 of the Cheshire Cricket Alliance were played. As a result, the 5 points that both teams were awarded dropped them down their respective divisions.

On Saturday the 1st XI, now in eighth place in Division 2, entertain bottom-of-the-division Bowdon Vale. The match starts at 2.00 pm. In Division 4 the fifth-placed 2nd XI take the long trip to Mellor, near Marple, to face a team one place below them.

On Sunday the 1st XI travel to Stockport-based Norbury to play their 1st XI Knockout Trophy second round match.
