Green Lane Field – APC Extraordinary Meeting

An Extraordinary Parish Council meeting was called on Monday 23rd April to review responses to the Public Consultation on whether the Parish Council should put in a bid for the field at the end of Green Lane.
A number of residents attended; they were given the opportunity to ask further questions and see some of the 160+ responses that had been received at that time.

Councillors unanimously agreed to bid for the land at Green Lane (subject to funding and subject to contract) and to apply for funding from the Public Works Loan Board.

As disclosure of the amount of funding and any potential bid would be prejudicial to the community's interests, the meeting was then closed to allow Councillors to debate how to take the bid forward.
