The two Public Consultation meetings held by the Parish Council this week have been very well attended. It is clear that the community is concerned about the future of the field and that the vast majority who attended wish to retain the area as green space into the future. A copy of the slides shown at the meetings can be found by clicking on the first link below the picture.

A Community Survey is under way to get clear guidance from residents on funding options, what level of borrowing and repayment they would endorse and to explore options for use of the 11.55 acre field. Copies of the Survey can be found in Williams and the Post Office or can be downloaded by clicking on the second link below the picture. (To print the survey click the printer icon in the top right corner when the file opens)
Williams and the Post Office also have ballot boxes where residents can return the forms. Alternatively they can be emailed to audlempc@gmail.com or handed to any Parish Councillor. Please complete and return the Surveys as swiftly as possible before, 5pm today Monday, as they will inform the Parish Council's decision on how to proceed.

Votes on whether to borrow money to purchase the field will only be counted from those who pay the Audlem Parish Precept. Input from people who live in adjacent villages is welcome and will also be taken into consideration but those who will have to repay any loan must have a louder voice in the debate.

An Extraordinary Parish Council meeting will be held in the Methodist Rooms this evening Monday 23 April at 7.30pm to discuss responses received and decide whether to apply for funding from the Public Works Loan Board.
