Great music line-up for Saturday's Chilli Night

Ian Haughey writes: "Re the Chilli night this Saturday 8th September at the Scout & Guide Hall, we have had a good response to reserving tickets already. We have 100 available and already have over 50% taken without announcing the line up! So, confirmed are:

Nick Lundie – those that saw him with the Duffey boys at the Combermere back in July will recall this talented young singer/songwriter.

Half Empty Optimists again got a good reception at the Combermere last Thursday and will also do a spot – these really are a good young band.

Kirsty Jack – Kirsty along with Jack Marshall are really forming a great sound together, performing a mix of their own and some unusual covers.

Hollow Floor will also be appearing in the evening. There is also the chance another 'local' guest may well make an appearance as well – diary permitting.

"The evening will be hosted by Colin Cliffe, bringing his own brand of MC'ing to the event.

"Tickets are free, call Ian on 812068 or Pete on 811330 to reserve. YOU MUST HAVE ONE THOUGH. Chilli will be available along with large buckets to donate(!) to keeping Live Music and Events real. Bring your own bar and refreshments by way of a visit to the local Hostelries and outlets, and remember, for the right reasons, we do not support under-age drinking of alcohol at these events."
