Great British High Street

Lovely to hear Audlem did so well i the above competition. It is a very good job those who reviewed our application did not visit this last weekend.

ALL our street parking was denied to anyone other United Utilities, no footpath provided for pedestrians trying to get to the newsagent et al who had to step out into the road and whilst workmen were wearing masks to cut into concrete the rest of us were showered with, and had to inhale, thick dust. Wonderful!

Whilst the work is obviously necessary no thought has been given to traders and villagers who live and work here. Had I been able to find any, I would have bought at least 3 Jobsworth Caps.
