May Hunter has contacted Audlem Online about Graffiti Classics who are coming to Audlem this month. May says: "They are a string quartet but with a difference. They play well known classical tunes with a flair all their own.

"John and myself has the privilege of seeing and chatting with them at the Edinburgh Festival in 2007 where son Phil Hunter was their technician. I can recommend them as great entertainment for all the family, young and not so young alike."

T.A.V.A presents Graffiti Classics the stand-up string quartet in Audlem on Saturday 16th October. This internationally acclaimed comedy string quartet hasbeen bringing classical string quartet into the 21st century – 16 strings, 8 dancing feet and 4 voices.

Scintillatingly slap-stick with brilliant arrangements, mischievous humour and amazing choreography. Playing a wide repertoire from modern to classical – from Gershwin and McCartney to the more expected classical territory of Straus and Ravel.

Bursting with enthusiasm they will delight audiences of all ages – particularly aimed at age 6 and upwards – including teens. A real family show. All welcome.

"A dazzling foursome with a quick fire concoction of dancing, singing and clowning...this show is a wonderful antidote for those who think that classical music is as staid as stained-glass" The Times.

"The most sensational string quartet on the (Edinburgh) Fringe. They combine superb classical music skills with inventive comedy and relentless dance energy" Daily Mail.

"The Graffiti Classics show was brilliant, we laughed our socks off all the way through" SEAS festival review.
