Glorious Gardens

Now that Spring is here it is an opportunity to visit two local gardens.

Firstly there is Wollerton Old Hall which opens on Good Friday and is open on Fridays, Sundays and bank holidays. The Hall is currently for sale so after this season the gardens may not be open. So visit whilst you can.Wollerton is Monty Dons favourite garden and has just featured in The Daily Telegraph.

The other garden is Hodnet Hall Garden, which is already opened this season and is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The magnolias are in display at the moment and well worth a visit.

Both gardens have excellent tea room. Dogs on leads are welcome at Hodnet but not at Wollerton.
