Garden Caterpillars

Even in small gardens like mine, the variety of wildlife is amazing if you look closely, I discovered these caterpillars on my Silver Birch tree the other day.

After a little research, I discovered that they are Buff Tip Moth caterpillars, the adult Moth is a really fascinating clever moth, it camouflages itself by mimicking Birch Tree twigs, so very hard to spot.
