Garden award winners announced

The winners of the ADAS (Audlem District Amenities Society) local Gardens awards were announced on Thursday night at the ADAS annual meeting by David Latchford.

The winner was Ruth Harrison for her splendid garden in Moorsfield Avenue, who received the engraved plaque that has been presented by ADAS to local gardeners for many years. A private garden award was also made to Keith and Brenda Gerrard for their garden in Copthorne Avenue.

The commercial property award was made to one of Audlem's new shops, the Flower Company on Audlem Square run by Sue Poole.
