Fun-ky promises to be another great Audlem weekend

It's Fun-ky weekend this Saturday and Sunday, 22nd and 23rd July. There is also one event tonight, Friday. It's a special fun-ky open night at the ju jitsu club at the Scout Hall between 7.00 & 9.00pm. Come along and have a look or even have a go! All welcome to watch but you have to be over 6 years old to take part.

Over Saturday and Sunday there's stacks to do including a Talent Workshop & Show. The Workshop will be on Saturday from 2 – 4.30pm and the Show (with fun-ky awards) will be on Sunday at 5.00pm, all in the Public Hall.

Instead of a talent competition this year, Fun-ky are holding talent workshops with the professional Day-Star Theatre. So, if you are 18 or under and have something to perform, then book a 15 minute exclusive workshop between 2 & 4.30pm on Saturday (there is some time on Sunday available if needed) and work on your performance with Day-Star. Then you will be ready to perform at the awards and talent show on the Sunday in front of an admiring and enthusiastic audience. Acts can be solo or as a group and anything goes as long as it is legal and can be performed on the Public Hall stage. A sound system is provided so just bring any recorded music along on cd.
