Once again, we are pleased to have our delicious Christmas Turkeys on sale this year at Gorse Croft Farm.

The farm fresh turkeys are reared in Sandbach on our daughter's farm. The Thornhills have generations of experience of producing a top quality Christmas Dinner and many of our customers return year after year for their delicious festive dinner. The turkeys are reared in spacious barns, housed on home grown straw, fed on locally grown corn and are even kept occupied with a variety of shiny toys to ensure that they are as stress free as possible.

Obviously, this year is slightly different than previously, not least because the turkeys had to be ordered in March (before lockdown) and, with us not knowing if we are going to be able to have a houseful, a "rule of 6" Christmas or a Christmas Day in lockdown, it has proved difficult to guess what turkeys we would need for the special day.

With this in mind, whilst we will continue to offer the option of a whole turkey or a Crown on the bone, we are also offering the option of having a half turkey. The benefits of a half turkey mean that you will receive half of a larger more succulent bird, still filled with our trade mark flavour and juiciness. We are happy to vacuum pack one half of the turkey for you to then freeze and use later on; maybe for Easter when hopefully "Rule of 6" will be long forgotten (fingers crossed).

We will of course, endeavour to meet your order, but we hope you understand that it may be more challenging for us to do so this year!

Your Christmas Dinner will be oven ready, all you need to do is collect it from us at Gorse Croft Farm after 1pm on Wednesday 23rd December.

We try to keep the price as reasonable as possible and this year the price is £3.35 per lb (£7.37 per kg), just give Shirley a ring on 01270 811334 and let us know your order. Alternatively, you can order online, here – just add "Audlem collection" to the notes.

Many thanks and Merry Christmas!
