On Saturday, we ran a story about the Foxy Wellingtons, the successful local band that's appeared at the Audlem Festival and also at the Chilli Nights. Unfortunately, the only photo we had at the time showed them from the rear, a perfectly decent shot of them appearing at the Lord Combermere, but it was from the rear.
Now, thanks to Ian Haughey, we have a shot of them from the front. So, if you missed the original story, this is what was said:
Following on from their succesful Glaston – Bury charity gig at the end of August, local band The Foxy Wellingtons have now been offered a massive opportunity to perform at the ten-year celebrations for The Printworks entertainment complex in Manchester City Centre on the 24th September.
This event is being run by The New Music show on Manchester Radio online, who have heard the band and have asked them to play.
The Printworks on a Friday and Saturday night can have in the region of 10.000 people attending so this is a massive chance for the band to play in front of a big audience.
The timings have not been confirmed as yet but they will be on between 5.00pm and 10.30pm. More info when available.
