Forthcoming Road Works

Cllr Rachel Bailey has sent us details of forthcoming works in the Audlem area, requiring temporary traffic lights or full road closures:

• Closure of Sound Lane Friday 20/2 – to allow signage replacement between 9.30 – 3.30 pm, which may result in additional displaced traffic due to the ongoing statutory weight limit on ‘Baddington Bridge
• 16 February 2026 Green Lane – 2 way traffic lights 9.30 am to 3.30 pm to allow barrier inspections.
• 18 February 2026 Heathfield Road – closure to allow tree cutting.
• 18 February 2026 Woore Road – stop & go boards, 9.30 am to 3.30 pm to allow signage repair/replacement.
• 16 February – 20 February 2026 Coole Lane – closure to allow drainage works; location works are due are in the parishes of Baddington, Austerson and Newhall.
• 18 February 2026 Coole Lane – stop & go boards, signage repair/replacement.
• 19 February 2026 – stop & go boards, directional signage repair/replacement.
