Early Thursday morning this week, at two minutes and three seconds after one o'clock in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06. It will be approximately 400 generations before a time like this happens again. Or so we are told by a local resident who knows about these things! Mind you, and we could be wrong, the webteam reckons the next time this date happens will be in 3006. And that will only be in about 40 generations time (at roughly 25 years a generation). But what's 360 generations in a story like this!

That started us wondering if by 3006 Audlem will have a by-pass or even mains gas! Mind you, if the global warming forecasts are accurate, St James' mound and church could well be a tropical island just off the North Shropshire coast. Adderley will be small beach resort selling coral souvenirs from the Cox Bank Barrier Reef....

We could go on and on (and you may have some long-range forecasts of your own), but in the meantime, enjoy this special moment in time early this Thursday morning.
