Footpath success

Audlem Online has received the following report from Parish Councillor, Peter Morgan:

"Walkers will note that the 'wall of death'section of the Audlem vale footpath, immediately adjacent to the bridge on the Green, has been subjected to a makeover.

"Having raised the health and safety issue of this section of path at a Parish Council meeting I was delegated to take the problem up with the County Highways Dept. As a result, they agreed that it was hazardous and arranged for the work to be carried out at no cost to the Parish.

"I'm sure that you will agree they have made a good job of it. The rest of the path is another issue yet to be resolved, but your Parish Council is working on it. "
