Following the blistering recent heatwave it's time to start thinking about your flu jab!

We offer both NHS and private jabs here at Boots

Who is eligible under the NHS scheme in our Pharmacy?...

• those aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical risk groups
• pregnant women
• those aged 65 years and over
• those in long-stay residential care homes
• carers
• close contacts of immunocompromised individual

frontline staff employed by the following types of social care providers without employer led occupational health schemes:

• a registered residential care or nursing home
• registered domiciliary care provider
• a voluntary managed hospice provider
• Direct Payment (personal budgets) or Personal Health Budgets, such as Personal Assistants

We will also be able to start administering NHS vaccines to 50-64 year olds NOT in a clinical risk group from 15th October 2022. The delayed start for this age group is to ensure the clinical prioritisation of those most at risk from flu.

Private flu jabs(If not in any NHS eligible group) — appointments are available from 21st Sept at £16.99.
