RozenKwekerij Ernst Oliman BV created a new company in 2005 with 3.8 hectares of glass and installed the Automatic Rotating Cultivation tray system.

The rose plants are in moveable troughs, in fact the employees do not go to the roses – quite the opposite the roses come to them.

This leads to a considerable saving in labour, a more optimum use of space and production.

As you can see from the images the cutter hangs the roses immediately after the cutting in the inhangbaan which then transports them to the sorting machine in the processing area.

What an amazing site this must be! The only human handling is when the bunches are checked.
