Fish a great success

Judging by the speed the stock was disappearing at, Oxtail & Trotter's new fish stall was a resounding success on its first day in business yesterday.

The stall looked splendid and there was a wide range of fish and shell fish on offer including delicacies such as oysters, clams and scallops.

It was yet another attraction in Audlem's first 'shopping mall' with The Pinfold, HodgePodge, Painted Blue and Oxtail & Trotter's butchers and now the Saturday fish stall all relatively new businesses at 11 Cheshire Street.

With Hoc's Fat Pigeon and the Wine Geek next door and the Village Chippy under new management nearby, this end of the village has really expanded in recent months.
