We are delighted to report that the Station 'reached' Harcombe House (212 miles) early afternoon last Saturday, 1st August. In fact, we managed an additional 40 miles making it 252 miles in total, using stationary bikes, a treadmill and a Concept 2 rower.
We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of the people of Audlem and those further afield. £541 was donated to the Fire Services Charity collection bucket that we placed at the front of the Fire Station during the event on Saturday. A further £853 has been donated via our Just Giving Page here
At the time of writing, with a grand total raised to date of £1,394! On behalf of Audlem Fire Station and the Firefighters Charity, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made a donation.
Saturday 1st August also marked the release of our Virtual Open Day. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions we have been unable to open our Fire Station to the public this year. So, we have created a series of videos that aim to showcase a little of what we do as a Fire and Rescue Service. These can be found on our Facebook page here
