The Fire Fighters charity provides personalised rehabilitation & support to serving, retired or dependent fire service personnel and their families. The charity provides invaluable support as a result of injury, illness, mental health & social wellbeing issues.
During the Coronavirus Pandemic, the charity has lost a significant amount of charitable funding resulting in future plans & ambitions grinding to a halt.
Today Saturday 1st August, Audlem Fire Station in Cheshire are planning on running, cycling & rowing 212 miles; which is the distance from Audlem Village to Harcombe House in Devon (one of the charities rehabilitation centers). They aim to raise £1000 in an attempt to reduce the financial deficit & to ensure this fantastic charity continues to operate.
Please support the Audlem Firefighters in their endeavour by donating via the just giving page here
