Festival and Carnival success

What an amazing Festival weekend this year. An array of musical and artistic talent filled Audlem and the crowds flocked in.

The pubs and cafés did a roaring trade throughout and, judging by the smiles, everyone was having a great time. There was even a flotilla of boats selling everything from cheese to jewellery to add to the retail scene.

A big thank you from Audlem Online to the organisers, the Festival and Carnival teams – who must be exhausted – and to all the performers and the venues for providing such amazing entertainment and hospitality.

As one performer announced to an appreciative audience yesterday: "This is a fabulous festival; just the right size; just the right venues – and just the right beer!"
