Fatal collision this afternoon

Green Lane, the Audlem to Market Drayton road, the A529, is currently closed.

West Mercia police have tweeted "The Adderley Road in Shropshire is currently closed following a fatal collision this afternoon."

Rumour has it that a lorry has overturned but no confirmed reports as yet. We understand the Air Ambulance has attended the scene.

Diversion signs are up at the village end of Green Lane.
